Roles & Responsibilities

**Buyer (Oracle)**

**Responsibilities**:

- Purchase direct materials, components as driven by MRP system
- Ensure timely PO execution and address supplier’s capacity, materials issues that may affect supply
- Review, analyze report & update PO promised dates to ensure timely materials availability for production
- Attend production meetings to update status and progress
- Communicate with suppliers for early or delayed deliveries as required, drive suppliers to meet on time delivery
- Communicate with internal customers to know the priorities of materials needed
- Ensure revision changes are sent to the suppliers and implementation
- Responsible for materials lead time reduction, working with Supply Chain eg. VMI program
- Resolve Receiving and Invoices issues with respective departments
- Manage and execute RTV processes to ensure timely replacement of rejected parts
- Support and participate in the EH&S programs and activities within the company.
- Participate in audits and inspections as and when required.
- Participate in the Continuous Improvement programs within the company to reduce waste, reduce cost, reduce errors and improve productivity.

**Requirements**:

- Min Diploma in Supply Chain Management/Business or relevant qualification
- Min 3 years related industry experience in purchasing role
- Proficient in MS Excel, Powerpoint and experience in Oracle system is highly desirable
- Experience in low-volume high-mix Manufacturing environment is a plus
- Basic understanding of Bill of Material (BOM) will be advantageous
