But despite the growing momentum and ambition from companies around the world to set climate goals, there are significant challenges to delivering on these ambitions. Business leaders don’t really know how they will get there. And the very first step, of getting emissions measurement right, is hard and critically important to make progress.
Terrascope is a smart carbon measurement and management SaaS platform that empowers large enterprises to build and action a credible path to net zero, and decarbonise their operations and physical supply chains (especially their Scope 3 emissions).

The
**Senior Product Designer** will report into our Experience Design Lead and it will have a key role in designing the Terrascope platform experience. As part of a cross-functional team, you will help translate complex sustainability practices, data sets and processes into product experiences that are easy to understand and intuitive to use.
In this role you will:
**1. Ship consistently high quality product design work**; from big IA decisions to the smallest interactions that bring delight to users, to exploring new interactions with wireframes and prototypes to drive ease of use, to organising and hosting design critiques and user research to iterate on your designs, to documenting insights that will inform future feature opportunities

**2. Build the Terrascope design system**; ensuring a consistent brand and UI experience across the whole user journey, maintaining the design system through libraries and documentation, and making sure we build accessibility into our platform

**3. Be a champion for great design**; actively develop a positive, productive and passionate design culture within Terrascope, represent the design team externally, through active exchange with the design industry, helping build our network and thought leadership.

**4. Be an advocate of the Terrascope platform**
- Stay up-to-date with the competition and category innovations, to inform new ideas to enhance the Terrascope platform
- Develop a deep understanding of climate change, and how better corporate practices and innovative climate solutions (such as Terrascope) can make all the difference

You should have:

- Experience in software-as-a-service environments, ideally in the B2B space
- Proven expertise turning complex business problems into simple and engaging products
- Strong command of interaction design, visual design and information architecture
- Adept at communicating and prototyping interactions rapidly at all levels of resolution
- A deep knowledge of modern web UI patterns
- Experience with UX writing for a complex, technical digital product
- Experience working closely with multi-disciplinary, technical teams
- Ideally you already come with some knowledge of sustainability, ESG, climate change and climate action
- Has built digital products that users love, particularly data heavy products that balance simplicity and depth of functionality
- A people first mindset that translates to a passion for observing, testing and co-creating with users to better understand their needs and pain points
- Very strong craft focus on interaction design and data visualisation, executing with creativity and high attention to the details
- A strong (and a little nerdy?) interest in how software products work and excited to go deep into the climate and sustainability domain, combined with a growth mindset
- Entrepreneurial, wanting take responsibility, to move fast, and launch and learn and iterate
- A strong desire to work cross-functionally team members in other disciplines such as product, design, data science, engineering, customer success, tech support and more
