As a **People Business Partner** you'd be able to work on and solve some of the many interesting challenges we are facing, learn new ways of working, and build delightful high-quality products for our customers.
**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will interface between business and People to deliver on the overall People objective of building an effective, efficient and engaged workforce. You are a professional People practitioner and will need to manage people processes, ensuring levels of capabilities and performance are aligned with current and future business requirements. You will also deliver appropriate and relevant People advice, ensuring that this is in line with the overarching business strategy, governance processes and risk appetite.
You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high degrees of ambiguity, get excited by solving complex problems and are happy to roll your sleeves up and get things done.
**Role responsibilities**
**Strategy**
- Partner with the relevant business heads, functional heads and stakeholders to drive and enable sustainable business performance.
- Create an effective, efficient organisation where maximizing performance and engagement is at the heart of every interaction in order to enhance capability and mitigate people-related risks.
- Manage people processes (performance, reward, resourcing, learning and talent) to ensure levels of capabilities and performance satisfy current and future requirements of the business
- Deliver appropriate and relevant People advice, ensuring that this is aligned to the overarching business strategy, governance processes and risk appetite.
- Help develop and execute against a strategy that drives sustainable performance and growth of the relevant business areas.
**People and Talent**
- Lead by example, building the appropriate culture and values, using effective leadership, coaching and engagement
- Employ, engage and retain high performing and high potential talents
- Develop talent to ensure a high-quality succession pipeline and sponsor ongoing development activities that focus on the identified high performing and high potential individuals within the businesses
**Processes and governance**
- Continuously improve and implement the operational efficiency and effectiveness of processes (e.g. salary/bonus review, talent management processes, recruitment processes) as they relate to the relevant business areas and the People function
- Contribute to the design and development of new people policies and programs that is fit for purpose for the business. These include performance management, learning & development programs and reward programs.
- Ensure effective management of operational risks within the role remit and compliance with applicable internal policies, and external laws and regulation.
In order to be successful at the role, you must have the following:
- 10+ years' experience in HR and HRBP roles, preferably with in-depth experience of working in Singapore; bulk of this experience should be performed in the Financial Services industry
- Strong management skills with the ability to handle multiple key stakeholders in a matrixed organisation
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and knowledge of Singapore HR practices and processes
- Good appreciation of the business requirements and understanding of how the HR strategy can support the business
- Self-starter and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high degrees of ambiguity
**Role Specific Technical Competencies**
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and knowledge of Singapore HR practices and processes
- Good appreciation of the business requirements and understanding of how the HR strategy can support the business
