Senior/lead Engineer

Singapore OMS OILFIELD SERVICES PTE. LTD. Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage R&D projects focused on the development of Surface Wellhead Products, Mudline Systems and/or Large Size Connectors.
- Oversee the design, development, and testing of new product technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in R&D activities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage project budgets and timelines.
- Conduct research to identify new technologies and materials for Wellhead and/or Connector products.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve current products performance and reliability.
- Review and approve design packages including layouts, hand stress calculations, tolerance studies, and design documentation.
- Provide technical advice to all company location operations and sales.
- Continuously improve department work processes and create product design standards.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8/12 years of experience in engineering, with a focus on oil and gas wellhead products.
- Proven experience in leading R&D teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proven experience in leading R&D / Sales order projects in the oil and gas industry for Surface Wellhead Products and/ or Large Size Connectors.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations related to wellhead products.
- Ability to manage project budgets and timelines.
- Experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
