As the Business Development Director, you will be responsible for leading strategic growth initiatives, expanding enrolment, developing new campuses, and enhancing brand and market presence for the preschool group. This is a leadership role that demands both vision and execution.

1. Strategic Planning & Growth
- Develop and implement long-term business growth strategies, including market expansion, M&A opportunities, and new centre launches.
- Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and demand forecasting to guide decision-making.
- Define and track KPIs for enrolment, revenue growth, and centre performance.

2. Enrolment & Marketing Expansion
- Collaborate with principals and the admissions team to drive enrolment performance across all centres.
- Lead the planning and execution of marketing initiatives such as open houses, community events, and digital campaigns.
- Build and maintain partnerships with corporate clients, real estate agencies, and community stakeholders to boost referrals.

3. Branding & Public Relations
- Oversee brand positioning, communications, and media strategy to increase market awareness and trust.
- Manage PR responses and lead communication in times of crisis or reputational risks.
- Monitor online reviews (e.g., Google, Facebook) and implement reputation management strategies.

4. New Projects & Investment Expansion
- Lead feasibility studies, site evaluations, and financial modelling for new campus development.
- Oversee the development of new centres from concept to operations, including liaising with architects, ECDA, and regulatory bodies.
- Evaluate acquisition and franchise opportunities for strategic growth.

5. Team & Cross-Departmental Leadership
- Build and manage a high-performing business development team (marketing, enrolment, project managers, etc.).
- Drive cross-functional alignment between marketing, operations, and academic teams.
- Participate in senior management meetings and contribute to high-level business planning.

Skills & Competencies
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and hands-on execution ability.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to liaise with parents, government bodies, partners, and vendors.
- Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin (to engage Mandarin-speaking stakeholders).
- Proficient in CRM tools, digital marketing platforms, and data-driven decision-making.

Experience
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in business development, enrolment, or marketing, preferably in the preschool, education, or premium consumer sectors.
- Experience in launching new campuses or executing mergers/acquisitions is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with Singapore’s early childhood education sector and ECDA regulations preferred.
