**About you**:
To support our growth we’re looking for a Sustainability Manager in our Asia-Pacific region (APAC), who will be based in Singapore. The APAC Sustainability Manager will join a global team that is dedicated to implementing our client’s highly ambitious sustainability goals and industry-leading best practices. Priority issues include food waste reduction, shrinking our carbon footprint, promoting plant-forward menus, reducing single use plastic and the sustainable sourcing of animal protein, seafood, and other procurement categories. The regional scope includes our operations across Asia and the Pacific.

**The great things you’ll do**:
Work closely with operations teams in each country to implement regional and global projects aligned with program goals.

Identify country-specific sustainability opportunities and develop locally appropriate initiatives to leverage them.

Develop presentations, tool kits, case studies and other assets to help our operators succeed in project delivery.

Use data effectively to track progress, identify hotspots and document success.

Work with our client, chefs, managers, and external experts to develop best practices for tackling food waste, single use plastic, and low carbon menus.

Work with culinary and procurement teams to comply with purchasing standards, educate key internal stakeholders, and track progress in meeting goals.

Facilitate the exchange of best practices and innovation across countries.

Work with our communications team to support user and client engagement through storytelling and campaigns.

Educate and inspire key internal stakeholders to deepen engagement in our initiatives.

Support colleagues in advancing health and safety goals.

Minimum of five years professional experience advancing sustainability goals in food, hospitality or related sectors.

A graduate degree in a related field is desirable but not required.

Expertise in one or more of the following is desirable: sustainable sourcing, plant-forward menus, carbon footprint reduction, food waste, and/or single use plastic reduction.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Effective project management skills.

Working knowledge of Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team.

Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment.

Willingness to travel and communicate across multiple countries and time-zones.
