- Possess a very deep understanding of tanker markets (CPP / Crude / focus on MRs / LRs).
- Strong foundation in chartering, shipbroking, arbitrage freight trading both on physicals and FFA markets.
- Extensive global network of ship owners/tonnage providers and charterers
- Ability to forge strong relationships with industrial clients and tonnage providers, to actively seek and grow customer base with establish new accounts, and to secure foothold on key clients/trades
- Identifying business opportunities related to cargoes & tonnage
- Good understanding of the freight market, and have good market judgement requiring intuitive sense, feel and trading experience
- Ability to operate cargoes & ships, monitor voyage performance and being fully responsible for final P&L.
- Competent in voyage and time charter parties
- Competency in reporting P&L
- Problem solver and attitude to achieve stretch targets
- Fundamentals of financial modelling related to assets

**Requirements**:

- University graduate / Master Mariner / Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers
- Min 8-10 years in the relevant role or more
