Quality Principal

**Roles & Responsibilities**

Your main responsibility is to coach, direct, and guide the principals and centres in meeting the different criteria of the Singapore Preschool Accreditation Framework (SPARKS).
- Assist in the training, coaching, and mentoring of Centre Leaders and Educators to effectively implement quality teaching and learning approaches, and to establish excellent learning environments within the centres.
- Plan, evaluate, and provide guidance to centres in meeting SPARK Full Assessment and Development Visit criteria. Prepare reports and action plans to enhance their performance.
- Conduct thorough audits of all Star Learners Preschools to ensure consistent implementation of the Literature-Based Curriculum. Share detailed reports of the audit findings with the centres and suggest recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct classroom observations to gather valuable data and insights. To ensure that the quality of teaching and learning is maintained at a high level.
- Create and deliver training and coaching programs that align with the requirements of SPARKS criteria.

**Requirements**:
Education & Experience
- Minimum Bachelor in Education/Early Childhood Education or higher
- Minimum 2 years of ECE teaching experience
- Minimum 2 years of visionary & curriculum leadership in EC setting
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mentoring and/or coaching in EC setting

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes
- Well-versed in the regulatory frameworks and standards governing early childhood education in your region, such as SPARKS, to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
- Have Analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze complex data, identify gaps, and develop targeted solutions to improve quality and performance in preschools.
- Flexibility and adaptability: You should be adaptable to changing situations, open to learning, and able to adjust your coaching and training methods to meet the unique needs of each preschool and teacher.
- Excellent communication skills: You should have strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate feedback, provide coaching, and collaborate with stakeholders, including teachers and principals
- Passion for education: A passion for education and a commitment to improving the quality of early childhood education are essential attributes for a preschool quality principal.
