You will be joining the APJC SA team reporting directly to the APJC SA Leader. SA team is a critical development to our future state SMB coverage model, and key part of the Global SMB Sales org. The Global SMB Sales org mission is to establish the Cisco’s strategy and GTM in the SMB space to ensure the company is set best to capture SMB market opportunities, by simplifying our sales operations and sales coverage, adapting our portfolio, and accelerating through partners and marketing focus.
About the role
The APJC SA team is looking to hire
**SMB Sales Acceleration Lead** for ASEAN and Korea to help establish and lead a team of sales acceleration managers that will provide focused partner coverage complementing the SMB field territory sales coverage through programmatic sales acceleration through key distributors or strategic SMB Partners.
Role& Responsibilities:
- Drive awareness and clarity of Cisco’s SMB sales coverage evolution amongst key ASEAN and Korea stakeholders, in partnership and alignment with Global and APJC SMB Sales leadership team
- Hire, Onboard and Manage all Sales Acceleration Managers for ASEAN and Korea
- Drive the execution of the SAM operating model, including internal and external relationships guidance and KPIs for the SAMs
- Define daily, weekly and monthly success metrics for the sales acceleration managers
- Own forecast & pipeline development on a weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly basis
- Understand and articulate Cisco's SMB value proposition and differentiation
- Work closely & communicate effectively with SBTMs, DAMs and PAMs of covered partners to support the best outcomes for their SMB Sales Acceleration team and the SMB territories overall
- Own planning, target setting and deployment of SAMs goal sheets in coordination with SB Theatre leaders and APJC SA Leader.
- Supervise the in-country sales alignment to meet future Cisco SMB key priorities and opportunities or handle change.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in a sales environment
- Min 2 years of demonstrated sales management role
- Bachelor’s degree in business or management or related field preferred
- Experience in sales forecasting and planning in Cisco
- Experience in Distribution or Partner Management is considered as advantage
- Ability to work as a team player and to work with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, listening and presentation skills. Able to articulate complex ideas and strategies to people at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and negotiation skills
- A flexible personality to work within a geographically distributed and matrix environment.
- Fluency in English is a must, any APJC local language knowledge in addition is considered a preference
