Care Pro

Join our home care team as a locum care pro to provide joy and care to our home care patients. You will be required to commit at least 20 hours per week.

- Complies with approved standards of nursing practice.
- Participates in activities to improve quality of care.
- Attending to the needs of clients. Ensures safety, comfort and well-being of clients and reports client’s needs to the primary nurse.
- Checks, monitors, and records clients’ vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respirations and blood pressure.
- Ensures the comfort and good personal hygiene of the client, e.g. bed bath/ shower bath, changing of clothes and bed sheets, keeping them clean and dry.
- Able to support transfer and assist clients.
- Assists in conducting exercises for clients, medication administration, and feeding clients via oral, nasogastric tube (NGT) and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG).
- Maintains documentation of care given.
- Assist in nursing care, e.g. caring for patients with urinary catheter, draining and changing of urine bag.
- Accompanies clients to hospital/ polyclinic for follow-up appointments.
- Alerts primary nurses to emergency situations.
- Maintains a safe and clean home environment for client if client and/ or client’s caregiver is unable to do so.
- Willing to work weekends, afternoon or night shifts.
- Any other duties as assigned by reporting officer.

**Job Requirements**:

- GCE N Level or equivalent
- WSQ Higher Certificate / Advanced Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care)
- ITE Approved Training Centre Healthcare (Home Care) program.
- At least 1-year of experience in providing Home Personal Care.

Salary per hour: $20 - $24 per hour

Commitment per week: Minimum 20 hours per week
