**Responsibilities**:

- To source for potential contractors and verify with relevant departments on purchasing requirements, mainly on contractor works relating to maintenance and upgrading of plant facilities.
- Evaluate job scope raised by Engineering department and analyse technical data and specifications needed
- Review suitability, source comparable quotes in all fields on available information
- Provide information to company personnel on nature and function of parts equipment
- Liaise with contractor representatives regarding specifications, costs, inspection, and issue arise related to parts equipment
- Effective sourcing and negotiate with vendors for best value, lead-time and terms
- Track purchasing trend to avoid over purchase.
- Prepare Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order and follow up on the approval process and PO closure.

**Requirements**:

- Familiar with procurement on Chemical Plant / Process Plant
- Teamwork
- Company Transport provided
