We are currently partnering with a New York-based private equity firm and they are looking for a systems engineer to support the Singapore office which includes overseeing and assisting initial setup for the new office as well as day-to-day in-person support and workstation

In this role, you will design, implement, operate, and support advanced, automation-driven infrastructure solutions in a highly collaborative and innovative environment. With no dedicated support or project management silos, the position demands independent judgment, a systematic approach to problem-solving, and adherence to company culture and standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, deploy, and maintain robust, reusable infrastructure components.
- Manage and support multi-tenant public cloud systems, with a focus on Linux environments.
- Leverage tools like Ansible and Terraform to drive infrastructure automation.
- Optimise operations by utilizing cloud-managed services (e.g., DBaaS, IaaS).
- Administer and maintain diverse databases, including relational, columnar, and NoSQL.
- Deliver high-touch, white-glove user support across multiple operating systems.
- Manage SaaS-heavy corporate environments and cloud-based storage solutions.
- Implement and oversee security controls, endpoint protection, and firewalls.

**Technology Stack**:

- Cloud: AWS-centric public cloud environment.
- Tools: Ansible, Terraform, DBaaS, MDM/MAM solutions.
- Platforms: Windows, Linux, Mac, SharePoint, and NoSQL databases.
- Communication Systems: Cloud-native video conferencing and phone systems.

**Experience**:

- 5-10 years in technology-related roles.
- Experience in the financial industry.
- Familiarity with high-performance, multi-tenant systems.
- Technical Skills:

- Server administration (Windows and Linux).
- Scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Desktop support for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
- Networking expertise (routing and switching).
- Database administration (various types).
- Security and compliance management.
