**Introduction**:Develop and publish Design Manual (DM) specifications for customers. The DM is one of GF’s key deliverables provided to customers. The DM team is at the center point of many different teams as it coordinates the input to DM and implements them according to schedule. It also creates and supports the Design Rules based on technological, manufacturing and business considerations. These Design Rules must be carefully engineered and qualified in order to ensure the competitiveness and manufacturability of GF’ technologies.

**Your Job**:

- Responsible for delivering high quality design manuals and providing design support to our customers.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Process Integration, Modules, Design enablement team and Fabs) to develop, evaluate, and validate technology design rules, electrical design rules, reliability design rules, Booleans etc
- Responsible for providing Truth Table, Device List Table, Device Region Definition for DM publishing
- Create layout Design of Experiments (DoE) and design Test Structures that will be delivered on Test Sites.
- Perform rigorous Silicon data analysis and efficiently communicate the conclusions to Process Integration teams. Champion modifications of process or Design Rules based on data to optimize GF’s technologies.

**Other Responsibilities**:

- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

**Required Qualifications**:

- BS / MS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or other relevant engineering discipline is required

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- MS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics
- Programming skill is preferred
- Should have a deep understanding of the semiconductor device physics, processes technology and design rule development for advanced technologies
