**Business Development Manager, Singapore**

Maker Lab is looking for a Business Development Manager to join us to help us with our next phase as we develop our operations across APAC. You’ll work with our Managing Director to manage and nurture business leads, play an active part in proposal development and set up financial strategies. Through our Maker Lab approach, you will support the Managing Director and CEO in seizing new business opportunities.

You’ll have trust and empowerment from the management team to move the needle. You are responsible for ensuring your function's efficiency and setting strategic future goals. Role:

- Conduct market research on competitors and prospects in APAC.
- Work with the Managing Director and revenue team leads to develop targeted client acquisition strategies.
- Track sales data and create performance reports. Track leads and their sources and keep tabs on the sales funnel.
- Manage the entire business development process, from prospecting to closing.
- Develop compelling proposals and pitch materials - project managing pitch teams, content development for proposals, case study development, to presenting the credentials.

You:

- 6+ years of experience in either of these roles - Business Development, Account Management, sales or marketing.
- Driven by commercial targets and achieving success in a high-growth environment.
- Able to turn around proposals and act on leads quickly.
- Able to work independently with limited supervision and easily navigate various levels, roles and personality types.
- Strong communication skills are imperative as you will represent the company to senior stakeholders across APAC
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proven experience with creating high-level presentations for a broad range of audiences.
- A positive individual who can motivate and inspire and doesn’t shy away from targets.
- High tolerance and appreciation towards ambiguity and change.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communications and presentation skills and - ideally - fluent in another Asian language to cover projects across APAC.
