**The Line of Business**
**The Data Solutions operating unit (OU) **is the commercial data business of Moody’s Analytics. We are best known for our Orbis database, which is the world’s most comprehensive database of public and private companies. We are also the definitive source of ratings-related data for companies and securities that have been rated by Moody’s Investors Service. **The Role**
As a Content Strategy Analyst, you will support the Head of Content Strategy to evaluate existing and new data sources, and synthesize clear recommendations.

You will assist in building the data roadmap for Data Solutions in collaboration with other groups, notably Data Sourcing Strategy, Product Strategy, and Sales teams.

This is a quantitative role that requires strong data manipulation skills and an attention to detail.

**Key Responsibilities and Objectives**:
The Content Strategy Analyst will:

- Assist in the capturing the “voice of the customer” as it relates to existing coverage and emerging use case requirements
- Identify and quantify data enhancements required in data portfolio working in close coordination with key stakeholders in Sales, Product Strategy and Data Operations teams
- Take a leading role in the coordination and planning of content POCs to evaluate quality of content for evaluation
- Develop tests, reports, and procedures around content quality improvements
- Prepare content communications to internal Moody’s teams as well as client-ready collateral for discussion/presentation purposes

**Qualifications**:

- 2 - 4 years’ experience with preference given to quantitative background.
- Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) is required

**Skills/Knowledge Expected**:

- Knowledge and experience working with structured data and data repositories used for B2B product development
- Strong quantitative analysis skills and the ability to translate analysis into actionable tasks with an emphasis and passion on content quality
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VBA, database connections, etc.)
- Proficient with data manipulation
- Familiarity with data mapping and data modelling
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Must possess strong initiative and a get-it-done attitude
- Excellent problem solver and independent thinker who has the ability to create innovative solutions
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively
