
Wavemaker Digital Planner

We are looking for a digital specialist to join us in the integrated business team. You will own digital channel planning, implementation and be responsible for managing and optimizing our clients’ investment on all digital channels. You must possess good working knowledge of executing campaigns across biddable and non-biddable platforms, as well as hands-on experience in campaign planning.
This position will suit individuals who are driven to excel in a fast-paced media agency environment across diverse client portfolio and are able to work well under pressure. You should also be a confident and articulate presenter/communicator as you will be expected to front client relationships and present campaign strategy and media recommendations.

**What Your Day Looks Like In Wavemaker**:
- Formulate insights (competitors, category, consumers) from different research and data sources to shape media recommendation.
- Drive strategic and tactical innovation across media platforms, including display, video, search, mobile, social and programmatic.
- Set effective campaign timeline and ensure all external and internal parties are promptly updated and aligned on deliverables and deadlines.
- Build digital media plans and able to articulate/present to clients with sound rationale.
- Own implementation and collaborate with clients, media owners, agency partners and internal specialist teams to ensure all ads are launched on time.
- Proactive tracking of campaign performance and budget pacing and develop optimization recommendation to share with clients.
- Develop campaign presentation decks (PPT) with guidance from Manager.
- Evolve use of measurement systems to provide greater insight into ROI of campaign reports and ensure agreed KPIs are met.

In 3 months:
- Build good rapport with clients. Proactively participate in meeting discussions with clients and agency partners.
- Acquire a good understanding of client’s business, marketing objectives and challenges.
- Competent in digital campaign implementation, across all channels.
- Able to develop meaningful insights from campaign performance data with actionable recommendations.
- Effectively support Manager in developing campaign presentations.
- Build confidence in presenting reports and campaign recommendations to clients.
- Own projection management, ensure smooth workflow and clients and team members are up to speed on all tasks.
- Rigor in setting and tracking campaign KPIs. Ensure effective and accurate optimisation and delivery of performance utilising all relevant internal teams, agency processes and tech/tools.
In 6 months:
- Proactively participate in meeting discussions with clients and agency partners.
- Holistic digital thinking is carried across channel planning and drive innovative solutions beyond tried and tested with outcomes that can be clearly measured.
- Able to put together a compelling media proposal with rigor and strong rationale to successfully sell in to clients.
- Confident in developing presentation decks (campaigns, post-campaign, competitive review etc.) with some guidance from team Manager.
- Develop ability to assess attribution of marketing activities (eg. owned and earned) to paid channel performance to optimise overall campaign performance.
In 12 months:
- Build trusted advisor relationship with clients, who see you as go-to person for advice beyond day to day campaign operation.
- Build confidence in leading meeting discussions with clients and agency partners.
- Able to independently put together presentation decks (campaigns, post-campaign, competitive review etc.)
- Fully competent in developing and articulating compelling campaign solutions to successfully sell in campaign recommendation or new initiatives that lead to incremental revenue growth for the agency.
**What You Need**:
- 1-2 years’ experience in a media / digital agency where your key function includes digital campaign planning and hands-on implementation across biddable and non-biddable digital channels.
- Confident communicator, including client report/campaign presentations and work-in-progress meetings.
- Competent in juggling different work streams at the same time with strong project management skills from campaign briefing to post campaign delivery.
- Possess technical knowledge of buying and trading tech including ad-servers, verification tools and DSP/DMPs etc.
