**About the role**:
The role reports to VP of Operations & Finance.
Blackpanda is looking for an Incident Manager (“IM”) with the talent and ambition to own and manage client relationships for key strategic accounts, particularly those under crisis from cyber attack. The account manager will not only oversee and manage existing projects with Blackpanda’s vaunted Digital Forensics Incident Response (“DFIR”) specialists, but also identify and manage new sales opportunities within the client account. The Incident Manager will partner with Blackpanda’s Revenue and DFIR team to develop and grow various partner channels with our service and insurance offerings.
This is a very exciting role that is highly focused on engaging and developing new business opportunities within a massively growing cyber market in the Asia region.
The IM should be a self-starting extrovert, motivated by the drive to connect with clients and form valuable business relationships with prospects and channel partners and keen to regularly connect and build rapport with clients. As you collaborate and create these lasting partnerships, you will have the opportunity to plan and design new pathways that contribute to the success of the whole Tribe
**What you will be doing**:
- Own and manage key client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
- Coordinate closely with the cybersecurity DFIR team; capable of translating, preparing, and presenting technical results to client executives with professionalism and precision.
- Refer cybersecurity partners or subcontractors as needed on behalf of the client, when needed and requested, and coordinate their operations with Blackpanda and the client
- Track, manage, and report progress of the DFIR cases and other services or insurance work with the client’s leadership, enabling the DFIR team to focus purely on technical work and engagementw with the client IT team
- Implement the Blackpanda inside sales strategy to ensure sales conversion targets are met or exceeded.
- Maintain a high-profile Blackpanda presence in the marketplace and grow customers' relationships into long-term commercial partnerships.
- Proactively communicate and nurture relationships with existing clients on a regular basis in-person and on videocalls.
- Utilize project management and CRM tools to generate metrics, analysis, and reports and provide client feedback to Blackpanda’s management and executive teams.
- Develop metrics and analysis for improving operational efficiency, conversion rates, and inside sales performance for existing clients.
- Collaborate with peers and other Blackpanda personnel to develop account management and project management skills, and promote professional growth.
**What are we looking for**:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a successful cybersecurity or IT company.
- Working knowledge of IT, network architecture, and cybersecurity. Knowledge of digital forensics and incident response is a plus.
- Consistent record of successful solution selling.
- Ability to successfully execute against an account strategy, lead a complex deal process, and position the business value of Blackpanda’s cybersecurity solutions to the client’s C-level and IT management.
- Skills in negotiation, problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate internally.
- Ability to network within a customer organization to identify all key influencers and decision-makers.
- Successful experience in selling comprehensive IT service solutions to clients.
- Robust communication skills and cybersecurity fluency.
- Ability to tackle multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to proactively navigate duties and day-to-day activities with mínimal guidance.
- Can maintain consistent CRM/Database ‘hygiene,’ and leverage SaaS tools to efficiently manage projects and accounts.
- Proficient in MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
