Incident Management Role

This is a challenging position that requires strong technical and analytical skills to manage complex technology incidents. The Incident Manager will be responsible for owning end-to-end incident management, ensuring minimal downtime and effective communication with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage technology incidents impacting group businesses, working closely with relevant business and technology groups.
  • End-to-end ownership of major incidents, minimizing time to restore services.
  • Establish strong command and control of incidents, evaluating complex issue scenarios and facilitating incident determination, recovery, and resolution.
  • Participate in incident resolution calls, ensuring timely incident recognition, logging, assignment, and resolution with proper documentation.
  • Coordinate incident progression, monitoring symptoms, trends, or deviations from standards, and escalate critical incidents as necessary.
  • Ensure accurate capture and documentation of incident data in the incident reporting tool.
  • Conduct post-incident activities to improve service quality and identify problem trends and causes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • ITIL certification is mandatory.
  • 8-10 years of experience managing complex IT initiatives in a matrix environment or Operational Line Managers experience preferred.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and oral).
