**Purpose and Scope**
- Energy and Power Systems Architect position will be responsible to design, model energy and power systems, size new projects, analysing carbon emissions in the engineering team of Project Management Office, Singapore, and Southeast Asia.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**
- Responsible in creating an energy and power systems model of the various existing energy assets.
- Design and optimize new renewable power plants, energy storage and distribution networks.
- Conduct simulations using Plexos and HomerPro in order to compute and acquire the levelized cost, carbon emissions and environmental impact of a project.
- Collaborate with other divisions to create an accurate model.
- Support commercial and business development team in assessing the current and potential energy assets to make business decisions.
- Continuously expand expertise and knowledge as an expert for energy and power systems in the company.
- Evaluation of new technology and innovation solutions via strong engineering first principles and fundamentals
- All value engineering and strategic plan developed shall ensure Capex remain competitive, sustainable and meets company business and operational needs.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in energy business and/or renewables
- Experience in engineering of renewable energy, energy & utilities, and/or process plant projects are preferred.

**Skills/competencies & Preferred Characteristics**
- Experience and skills in energy and power systems modelling
- Experience in using energy and power system modelling software such as HomerPro and PLEXOS is a must.
- Knowledge of PV, Wind, Hydro, battery energy storage system and other renewables.
- Knowledge of Hydrogen, Ammonia and other new energy technology.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skill, positive attitude, teamwork, analytical, communication skill, leadership skill.
- Can work independently with minimum supervision.
- Liaise and maintain good working relationship with stakeholders.
