We are looking for a **Satellite Electrical Power System Engineer **to join our passionate team. You will be the architect of the satellite's electrical nervous system, ensuring it has the energy to fulfill its mission.

**In this role, you will**:

- Design and implement a robust power system using solar cells and Lithium-ion Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries.
- Analyze and optimize the power needs of the satellite and its payload, ensuring efficient energy use throughout its mission.
- Oversee the entire electrical architecture, including electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and harness design.
- Lead the verification and validation process, guaranteeing the power system functions flawlessly.
- Collaborate closely with the satellite system engineering team to ensure seamless integration of your design.
- Support all mission analysis and translate requirements into a powerful electrical system.
- Author key technical documents, including specifications, budgets, and test plans.
- Monitor suppliers and the integrated product team, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Provide expert guidance and support throughout program reviews.
- Oversee subsystem assembly, integration, and testing, and analyze test data.
- Author the subsystem operations manual for future reference.
- Support in-orbit testing to ensure the power system performs flawlessly in space.

**We require**:

- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering
- Experience in designing and testing power subsystems for satellites would be great.
- A deep understanding of the space environment and orbital mechanics.
- Strong grasp of aerospace systems and engineering principles.
- A knack for problem-solving, with a combination of analytical, creative, and hands-on skills.
- Experience leading system integration processes and a meticulous eye for detail.
- The ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (French a plus).
- Prior experience leading and coaching a technical team is a strong asset.
- A passion for space exploration and a desire to make a lasting impact.
