Role Summary:
Responsible for the lifecycle management of the product portfolio. The Board Product Manager is responsible for the lifecycle management of the product portfolio of the Board business. This is a key role supporting the development of the Board business internationally. This role spans many types of activities, from strategic to tactical. The Product Manager provides cross-functional coordination and bridges organizational gaps between different functional groups within the APRIL organization, for example: sales team, marketing, sales administration, manufacturing, technical and Quality Control, supply chain, finance & accounting. The role also involves working with external organizations, such as channel partners, customers, and major key end-user accounts.

You are on a journey to join an exciting Company and be part of our success story. Here we will equip you with the know-how and experience that will define your growth. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:
- Support the Commercial Head in developing and refining the Product Strategy, definition of product features and requirements, building product business development roadmaps, conducting customer interviews for case studies, managing board product information and its release, conducting sales and support training.
- Analyze the board market landscape and the competitive environment to define a differentiated product positioning that delivers unique value for the Company and customers.
- Manage the Product Portfolio and Brand Architecture for the Board business. This will involve leading teams to develop new products, tuning and streamlining of current products and SKU’s, re-branding and re-positioning of products to sustain upper-quartile performance of the Board product portfolio.
- Monitor, analyze and improve the board product performance including volume and profitability. This P&L function includes developing a detailed knowledge of the board product pricing and cost structure, especially product recipes.
- Forecasting and scenario planning to support Annual Budgeting process and the Monthly/Quarterly review of Board business performance including volume allocation and profitability.
- Responsible for competitor product benchmarking and work with technical, production & finance team to differentiate & improve our board products.
- Support sales team on development of key customers, end-users and/or partners.
**Requirements**:
To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor or Masters degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 5-8 years sales and/or marketing experience, preferably from paper or paperboard industry
- Strong techno-commercial capabilities
- Passionate and results driven with an eye for details
- Commercially savvy with high business acumen
- Excellent interpersonal, writing and presentation skills
- Good leadership and people management skills
- Proficient in both English and Mandarin
- Mobile and able to travel to remote operations or sales locations
