Overview

Technical Product Manager (Product Design & Management) at Housing & Development Board . What You Will Be Working On

  • Be part of the Product Team with Product Owner and Product Manager to manage the entire product development cycle, from conceptualization to buy-in with internal and external stakeholders, until delivering the product to end users.
  • Product Strategy & Vision: Define and drive the technical product roadmap aligned with business objectives; identify opportunities and develop product strategies based on user needs and technical capabilities; collaborate with stakeholders to establish product vision and success metrics.
  • Technical Leadership: Work closely with engineering teams to define technical requirements and architecture decisions; evaluate technical feasibility of proposed features and provide alternatives; balance technical debt with new feature development; guide technical decision-making with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Product Development: Write detailed technical specifications and user stories; prioritise product backlog based on business value and technical constraints; lead sprint planning and grooming; manage dependencies across multiple technical workstreams.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders; communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences; collaborate with UX/UI designers and software engineers to ensure feasibility; work with business process owners to gather requirements.
  • Data & Analytics: Define and track KPIs; use data analytics to drive product decisions; monitor technical metrics and system performance.

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong background in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of business analyst experience in software development projects.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an Agile environment and cloud platform.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure, meet deadlines, multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Business case and user-stories development skills; strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to articulate technology concepts and work with stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of web, mobile and cloud technologies and their impact on design solutions; experience with Confluence and JIRA is an advantage; BPM modelling techniques are an added advantage.
