Senior Associate, Client Onboarding

Are you detail-oriented, driven, and passionate about setting the gold standard in client due diligence? We’re looking for a Senior Associate, Client Onboarding to join my client’s dynamic team and play a critical role in ensuring a seamless and compliant onboarding experience for high-net-worth clients.
**Responsibilities**:
Own the end-to-end client onboarding process for Private Banking clients
Review new account documentation for accuracy and completeness
Ensure onboarding files meet internal CDD and regulatory standards
Evaluate the quality and credibility of Source of Wealth information
Conduct name screening, assess adverse media and sanctions exposure
Maintain accurate documentation of all client communications
Provide advisory support to the frontline on CDD policies and local regulations
Escalate high-risk or reputational concerns to Compliance as needed
Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, and Tax functions
Contribute to continuous improvement in onboarding controls and processes
**Requirements**:
At least 5 years of experience in AML/KYC and client onboarding, ideally in Private Banking
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements; ACAMS certification is a plus
Exceptional communication skills—Mandarin proficiency preferred
