At Fortinet, our mission is to safeguard people, devices, and data everywhere. We are currently seeking a APAC Legal Counsel to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business.

**As a Legal Counsel, you will**:

- Provide all legal support required by the business primarily in South East Asia and Australia /New Zealand
- Be a trusted and key legal advisor to internal stakeholders of the region.
- Deliver prompt legal review and support on transactional agreements, tender documents, procurement contracts and any other legal assistance which is required.
- Review, negotiate and draft agreements with Fortinet’s partners and customers.
- Provide legal advice to the business including supporting matters related to human resources, corporate matters, compliance, procurement and inbound licensing, giving training etc.

**We Are Looking For**:

- Qualified lawyer with minimum 3 years’ post qualification experience (PQE), having worked in a legal department or law firm.
- Perfect written and spoken English, including legal drafting and negotiation in English.
- Drafting experience obtained in a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Ability to work and make decisions without supervision.
- Solution driven.
- Good communicator and ability to work with people with different cultural backgrounds.
- Positive can-do attitude: can handle complex work and yet no job is too small.
- Good team player.
- Professional.
- High integrity.
- Some complex transactional experience as well as experience with compliance programs.
- Certain flexibility regarding working hours as attendance of early morning or late-night telephone conferences may be required due to time zone differences with colleagues in other regions.
- Quick grasp and willingness to learn.
- Experience in a technology driven environment.
- Understanding of channel driven sales models.
- Experience in the security industry.
- Experience and training in contract negotiation.
- Another language apart from English.
- Understanding of tender and procurement processes.
- Work experience in more than one jurisdictions / country.
- In-house transactional experience.
