**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
We are an early stage startup dedicated to transforming the consumer tech rental industry. Our mission is to provide a convenient and affordable rental solution for a wide range of consumer tech products, enabling individuals and businesses to access the latest technology without the need for ownership. As a collections agent you will play a crucial role in managing and recovering overdue payments from customers, utilising a tactful yet assertive approach to ensure timely repayments. This role involves making outbound calls to customers with past-due accounts, updating payment trackers, and coordinating with external debt collection agencies to maximise recovery efforts.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Communication**: Make outbound calls to customers with overdue payments, employing a respectful and understanding tone while emphasising the importance of timely repayment.
- **Payment Tracking**: Diligently update the internal tracker with payment statuses, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date for efficient monitoring and reporting.
- **Agency Coordination**:Serve as the primary liaison between the company and external debt collection agencies, ensuring smooth communication and follow-ups on collection activities.
- **Debt Recovery Strategies**: Assist in developing and implementing effective debt recovery strategies that align with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- **Customer Service**: Handle customer inquiries and disputes related to payments and debts with exceptional service, aiming to resolve issues amicably while safeguarding the company's interests.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Fluency in Mandarin**: Must be fluent in Mandarin, preferably with proficiency in the Singapore dialect, to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base.
- **Strong Customer Service Skills**: Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations diplomatically and maintain positive customer relationships.
- **Excellent Communication**: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey messages clearly and persuasively.
- **Problem-Solving Abilities**: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
- **Attention to Detail**: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially in tracking payments and documenting customer interactions.
