AVP, Finance Transformation will play a supporting role in ensuring projects and change initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee engagement and acceptance and adoption of change.

This role will focus on all aspects of change - including people, business processes, systems and technology. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The AVP will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.

The role will also play a significant role on a multi-year ERP implementation, partnering with Group Digital and Technology Team. Accelerating automation through robotic process automation and driving the organization to be data centric are also a key focus and the AVP will be expected to have a leading role driving both focus areas across finance and the group.

This role will report into VP, Finance Transformation but will also have significant interactions with GCFO’s direct reports, all Finance function leads as well as with Global Digital and Technology Team.

**Responsibilities**:
Change Management

Work with VP, Finance Transformation to develop a change management strategy based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups being impacted by the change.

Transform Billing process into a streamlined and productive one

Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns.

Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.

Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans - including communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan.

Support the execution of plans by employee-facing managers and business leaders.

Together with VP, Finance Transformation, be an active and visible coach to change sponsors.

Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changes.

Identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement corrective actions

Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success.

Project Management

Partner with Group Digital and Technology to project manage key finance technology projects including multi-year ERP implementation as well as finance related system implementation, automation and data and analytics projects.

Run workshops and conduct meetings during the course of the projects

Work with external consultants to ensure deadlines are met and issues are proactively addressed

Work with VP, Finance Transformation to report progress of the multi-year projects and ensure that projects deliver value as planned

Experience

A relevant bachelor’s degree in Finance with professional qualification (CA, CPA preferred), with at least 8 years of working experience preferably a few years of working in either a Big 4 or a consulting organization prior to transitioning into commercial environment.

Previous experience managing transformation/ change as well as project managing large scale ERP or system implementation preferred.

Other Competencies

Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
