
Accounts Manager

_Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission - specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning. _
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes _. _
- Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit.
- _Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems and control costs. _
- _Management of budget in coordination with the Director. _
- _Invoicing to funding sources, including calculation of completed services & subsequent follow up’s. _
- _Payroll management, including tabulation of accrued employee benefits. _
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
- _Disbursement of checks for agency / Sub-contractors expenses. _
- _Organization of fiscal documents. _
- _Regular meetings with Executive Director around fiscal planning. _
- _Commitment to social justice and the mission _
- Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions
- Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end
- oversees the preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
- Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.
- _At least 7 years’ experience in Administration / Account Management / Book Keeping _
- _Strong background and work experience in Finance _
- _Obtained ACCA, preferably from Singapore _
- _Excellent computer skills and proficient in Tally, Tally ERP-9 excel, word, outlook, and access _
- _Understanding of Singapore accounting policies and common practices. _
- _Excellent communication skills both verbal and written _
- _Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style. _
- _Budget development and experience in conducting audits. _
- _A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace _
- _Knowledge of tax and other compliance implications. _
- _Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment. _
