Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and administer servers (Dell VxRail, HCI) and storage systems (Dell Isilon, SC8000, SC7020, etc.).
- Handle O365 administration tasks such as user creation/update/deletion, Teams Call and license administration.
- Handle hybrid Microsoft AD, Exchange, and SharePoint environments.
- Manage Certificate Authority, including SSL/TLS.
- Utilize DBA skills for managing Microsoft SQL and open-source databases, including log cleanup, chunk reclamation, fine tuning IOPS as per the apps team requirements and database security.
- Administer backup systems such as Veeam Backup, NetBackup, and tape movement from primary to secondary location.
- Perform monthly patching using SCCM for Windows servers, SQL, and end-user devices.
- Conduct daily health checks of systems and address any issues.
- Conduct weekly health checks of systems and provide solutions or fixes using monitoring systems like Zabbix, PRTG, or SCOM.
- Perform data center walkthroughs daily for visual inspection and monitoring.
- Demonstrate scripting skills, preferably in PowerShell, and contribute to infra-automation tasks.
- Manage Azure administration tasks such as VM creation, migration etc.,
- Document and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Experience in upgrading server OS and SQL servers with mínimal data migration on ad-hoc basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT.
- 3-5 years of relevant domain experience.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
- Self-starter capable of working with mínimal briefing.
- Strong independent work skills.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools for ticketing purposes.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with client IT team, users, and team members.
- Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate.
- Willingness to be on standby after office hours with designated service mobile and during monthly patching activities.
- Excellent documentation skills for preparing and updating SOPs.

Relevant certifications in one or more of the following areas is a plus:

- o Server Administration Certification (e.g., MCSA: Windows Server, RHCSA, etc.)
- o Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- o Microsoft Certified: SQL Database Administrator Associate
- o Dell EMC Proven Professional
- o Veeam Certified Backup Engineer
- o ITIL Foundation
