RESPONSIBILITIES
**Purpose of Role**

To research, develop, manage, plan and direct relationships and opportunities for Philippines Testing business unit, acting with a select number of accounts as the Key Account Manager.

**Scope**

BVAQ Philippines sales activity footprint and as defined by the Head of Sales BVAQ & Group Manager (CE).

**Areas of Responsibility**

**Results**:

- Deliver Quarterly and Annual Net Revenue and Gross Margin targets by business unit and key customer (joint accountability with business unit manager).
- Achieve annual customer satisfaction targets.

**Operation Execution**:

- Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
- Developing growth strategies and plans.
- Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs.
- Discovers and explores business opportunities.
- Writing customer’s proposals/quotation.
- Sales opportunity/activity monitoring, tracking and progress update.
- Understanding of BVAQ products and services.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations
- Ensure that the Customer Services Team provide outstanding service to customers and are able to efficiently and effectively coordinate queries and resolve complaints.
- Utilise CRM - Salesforce to record all interaction with the customer and ensure integrity of customer information.

**Customer Relationships**:

- Establish networks with key customers and potential customers, as well as stakeholders such as industry associations. Establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Ensure that BVAQ SEA is recognised as the industry leader in service and performance.
- Represent the customer’s voice internally.

**Communication**:

- Ensure that the Account and Customer Service teams maintain open, transparent and effective lines of dialogue with other departments.
- Ensure that the Account Management and Customer Service teams keep the Business Groups informed and aligned with all significant activities and initiatives.
- Ensure that all customer plans are developed in conjunction with relevant Operations and Laboratory managers.
- Build a relationship of trust and collaboration between Sales, Operation and Quality Department.

**Planning**:

- Actively participate in business planning. Working with the Head of Sales to prepare budget and forecasts as required.
- Identifying and looking for rising stars, emerging customers, strategically important start-ups.
- Establishes communication pathway and sets service delivery and problem solving processes between BVAQ and customer.
- Maintain various business development planning tools including customer Joint Business Plans
- Develop and maintain stakeholder mapping.
- Management of project documentation.
- Planning, Executing, and Closing Projects. Responsibility for defining the project, building a comprehensive work plan, and managing to budget.
- Complete special projects as required.
- Execution of annual sales plan in line with company strategic plan and budget.
- Lead the development and execution of Joint Customer Business Plans for key customers.

**Reporting**:

- Provide monthly reports outlining progress against sales and account plans, market trends, customer and competitor activity.
- Reporting via CRM - Salesforce to record all sales opportunity and sales activity with the customer and ensure integrity of customer information

**Health and Safety**:

- Participate in workplace safety management practices to improve safety and health in the workplace environment to keep oneself and others safe, and to achieve continuous improvement and recognition of best practice.

QUALIFICATIONS
**Experience & Knowledge**

**Education**
- Degree in Business or Commerce or International Marketing

**Experience**
- Divisional or Business Unit Management - Advisory Services from within Management
- Consultancy or Global Food Safety Organisation
- Ability to drive business relationships and communicate (verbal and written) with C-Suite or Senior Level business people in SE Asia
- Sound industry sector knowledge and experience
- Experience within consulting
- Experience within an accreditation/certification industry.
- B2B sales experience.
- Good understanding of BVAQ’s wider business interests

**Knowledge & Skills**
- Customer relationship management; Ability to quickly and easily develop sound working relationships with customers and other stakeholders
- Financial literacy; Working knowledge and experience with budgets, schedules and cost estimates
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Background in TIC sector
