Information Technology Section Manager

We are searching for a highly motivated Section Manager to join Scoot's IT Department and manage our Navitaire Airline Passenger Service System (PSS).

You will identify opportunities for system and process enhancements to ensure optimal performance of the system.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the Navitaire Airline PSS system, including monitoring performance, identifying and resolving any issues, and implementing updates or upgrades as needed.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot any system-related issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to identify and resolve technical problems and ensure that all systems are running efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Participate in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
- Stay current with new technology trends and advancements in the industry and identify opportunities for system improvements.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience working with Navitaire Airline PSS systems.
- Strong understanding of airline industry operations and processes
- Experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for complex systems.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and network architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Prior experience in the field of IT, preferably in the Airline Industry / Airline IT Solutions company is advantageous.
- Prior experience in Navitaire's Newskies Reservation System or other PSS is advantageous but not required.
- A travel company qualification or relevant travel agency, retail or sales work experience can also be helpful.
