**What the role is**

**What you will be working on**
- You will be involved in procurement of term contracts to ensure proper functioning of Mechanical and Electrical systems such as air conditioning, lifts and escalators as well as other services such as building repair and sanitary works. As part of the procurement work scope, you will review the specifications and constantly update them to incorporate essential requirements such as automation, costs and energy efficiency and pandemic readiness. You will also be responsible for upgrading works, which includes procurement, project management and contract management. You will also manage tenants on the ground and through regular engagement and updates to the local grassroots, address the issues faced by residents affected by upgrading works. You will also be involved in planning reviews of commercial and social communal facilities in new estates to ensure they are built according to design briefs and give inputs to the design to address possible maintenance issues downstream. You will, from time to time, respond to emergency situations outside office hours, to manage situations such as fire, lift breakdown, spalling concrete. This would entail quick engagement on the ground and activation of term contractors to carry out recovery works.

**What we are looking for**
- You should have a good background in Building, Project Management or the equivalent, preferably with a minimum of 3 years' relevant working experience in building management. Knowledge of Mechanical Electrical Engineering would be advantageous. You should be dynamic, have a positive attitude, good interpersonal, good communication skills and the energy to respond to situations.
