Roles & Responsibilities

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement goals, policies and procedures relating to financial management, budget, and accounting.
- Suggest updates and improvements for accounting/financial reporting systems
- Supervise and participate in the preparation of various financial statements, management and statutory report for the business unit and company.
- Review financial statements with management personnel.
- Ensure timely, accurate closing of full sets of accounts, finance budget & cash flow management
- Analyse financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.
- Review Tax returns and ensure compliance on all tax related matters including Corporate Tax, GST and withholding taxes.
- Assist with quarterly reporting to audit committee and half-yearly and annual public announcements on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
- Present financial reporting to the Senior Management Committee and stakeholders
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Conduct risk assessment for new contracts and provide analysis report.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with internal control procedures and accounting policies.
- Coordinates preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.
- Analyse market trends to find opportunities for business expansion.
**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accountancy / ACCA or equivalent.
- At least 8 years’ relevant work experience in accounting field
- Prior experience in Construction/Oil & Gas related Industry will be advantageous
- Possess 3 years in leadership role
- Possess maturity, strategic thinking ability and strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, tax and regulations of Singapore.
Independent, meticulous, and good team player.
