
Sales Lead

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan that meets revenue goals and targets
- Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with key decision-makers in K-12 and higher education institutions
- Lead sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers
- Conduct needs assessments and provide expert guidance on how the company's technology solutions can meet the unique needs of each institution
- Develop proposals and negotiate contracts with customers
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop messaging and positioning for the company's products and services
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities
- Attend conferences and trade shows to promote the company's products and services
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in sales, consulting, or a related field
- Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and meeting revenue targets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Deep understanding of the K-12 and higher education markets, including the challenges and opportunities facing these institutions
- Ability to conduct needs assessments and provide expert guidance on how technology solutions can address these challenges
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel as needed
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience in educational technology sales or consulting
- Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in educational technology
- Existing network of contacts within the K-12 and higher education markets
