**Chemist - Technical Support**

Our client is an MNC chemical manufacturer and supplier in Singapore. The company is committed to create a sustainable society through constant product innovation and continuous quality improvement.

**Responsibilities**:

- To provide product related technical supports to the customers and sales team locally and across SEA.
- To evaluate current market trend and propose with analysed data to justify the development needs of the new products.
- To present with technical reports to the targeted stakeholders or customers.
- To perform analysis and chemical evaluation of the existing or new products if required.
- To take ownership of the research and development of the new chemical products.
- To implement or update quality and safety related procedures.
- To ensure laboratory equipment/ instruments/ chemicals are properly maintained and managed.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Applied Chemistry, Material Science or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of polymer/ organic chemistry and its related analytical methods.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in the chemical testing laboratory.
- Good knowledge of SEM, FTIR and other analytical methods.
- Good knowledge of chemical formulation and its standard requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to converse with Chinese speaking customers.
- Ability to travel to Southeast Asia (SEA) countries for work.
