Job Title: Research Chemist

The role of a Research Chemist is to design and synthesize new molecules and materials that support the development of advanced technologies.

This position requires expertise in organic synthesis techniques, process development, and optimization for ongoing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support across R&D initiatives and collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals.

  • Design and synthesize novel compounds and materials using various synthetic methods.
  • Participate in process development and optimization for existing projects, ensuring efficient production processes and high-quality outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough literature reviews, analyze data, and provide expert opinions on chemical properties and behaviors.

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A degree in Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least one year of relevant laboratory experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or related industries.
  • Proficiency in software such as ChemDraw, Reaxys, SciFinder, and other relevant chemical databases and tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovations in the field of chemistry.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English is preferred, but not required.

Additional qualifications may include prior experience working with vanadium flow battery systems, familiarity with laboratory equipment, and knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
