**What the role is**
- As an International Relations Officer in the International Cooperation Branch (ICB) in the Planning Division, you will play an active role in supporting MOE and the wider whole-of-government efforts in strengthening Singapore's education relations with foreign countries, as well as in profiling Singapore's brand of education globally.

**What you will be working on**
- Review and implement strategies to engage other countries in education, with a view to advancing national interests and MOE’s international agenda
- Work with relevant agencies, MOE divisions and educational institutions on matters relating to bilateral/ multilateral educational cooperation, to expand educational opportunities for our students and teachers, profile Singapore's education internationally, and facilitate the export of our educational services
- Maintain a strategic overview and background briefs on foreign education systems and participation in international forums
- Plan and execute visit programmes involving MOE’s political heads and senior officials overseas, as well as for hosting visits to Singapore by foreign dignitaries
- Evaluate proposals for collaboration by other countries and recommending positions for our political heads and senior officials at meetings with their foreign counterparts

- Good analytical skills and systems thinking
- Good writing and communication skills, with an eye for detail
- Good interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the cultural sensitivity and confidence to respond to a fast-paced environment
- Preferably with working experience in the field of foreign affairs or international relations
- Highly motivated, with willingness to take initiative. Works well in a team to achieve collective goals
- Willingness to travel for work
