This is a senior position, leading the NTT Global Data Centers “GDC” Retail Sales department by developing and implementing sales strategy that complement business plans to drive sales growth, profitability, financial targets, productivity and customer satisfaction. It requires establishing and maintaining business relationships with premium clients and key stakeholders, internal GDC departments in each country to drive sales and increase/maintain market share in targeted segments. Driving and monitoring post sales account servicing and sales administration activities in each country.

**Strategy Development and Implementation**
Develop sales strategy for the GDC Retail Sales to achieve targeted revenue and profit growth and the approach for each country.
- Direct the analysis of customer requirements and review the industry/customer segments periodically to rebalance and ensure optimal allocation of resources/support in the segments.
- Contribute to the establishment of the overall customer perspective of a one NTT when cilents have multi-country presence.
- Provide inputs/support to the development of sales tactics each individual sales and drive a sales culture of sharing best practices.
Develop sales strategy for Channel Sales and the associated Relationship Management to achieve incremental revenue and profit growth for each country.
- Establish partnership agreements, training workshops, marketing collateral and deal workflow processes to track, monitor and deliver revenue and profit targets.
- Create and manage a fair Partner eco-system with defined engagement rules and conflict management resolution processes.
- Engage Chanel Partners through joint sales (sell to, sell with, sell through) and co-marketing events.
**Drive Business Results**
- Monitor the weekly sales performance and direct corrective actions to ensure achievement of sales goals.
- Study the sales efficiency and service standards to ensure customer satisfaction in the existing client base.
- Control sales costs to ensure they are within budget.
**Develop and Maintain Business Relationships**
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with the key decision makers of premium accounts to drive and maintain client revenue and profitability.
- Lead the pursuit of key prospects and strategic negotiations to close large client opportunities with local sales and participate in meetings.
- Establish collaborative relationships with each NTT country head to drive cross organization sales/referrals.
**Critical Commercial/Service Issues**
- Supervise and participate in the resolution of critical commercial/services issues and leverage the appropriate resources to minimize potential risks and impact to our clients.
- Lead communication with customers to address critical commercial/services issues with local sales.
- Monitor the implementation of preventative measures to mitigate risks and ensure long-term success of the business.
**Sales Effectiveness**
- Supervise the development and provision of sales trainings to develop capabilities and improve individual sales performance.
- Chair regular feedback sessions from each countries sales force input and improve sales processes.
- Review sales targets and sales incentive payout on a regular basis to drive continuous improvement and ensure the effectiveness of salesforce rewards.
- Monitor the individual performance of the salesforce and direct corrective actions to address performance issues.
**People Management**
- Manage the local sales in each country and rebalance responsibilities as appropriate to ensure optimal allocation and high performance of teams.
- Develop, mentor and/or coach direct reports, and support their progress and development in the organization. Monitor the provision of career progression opportunities and succession planning.
- Cascade and allocate performance targets to each country and provide timely feedback to direct reports in order to address performance issues and achieve performance targets.
- Coordinates sales activities across the geography to ensure that a consistent go-to-market approach is followed and that each client with multi-country presence is approached in a planned and coordinated way.
