
Account Assistant

**Responsibilities**
1. Receiving and processing payments from customers
2. Coordinated with other departments to ensure accurate billing info and customer information
3. Generating and issuing non-trade invoices to customers
4. Establishing and monitoring credit limits for customers
5. Following up on overdue payments
6. Managed petty cash reimbursements
7. Monitor and report on monthly/weekly Debtors aging
8. Assisted with month-end closing procedures such as bank reconciliation and generating SOA
9. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
**Requirements**:
1. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
2. Meticulous and attentive to details and accuracy
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills
4. Proactive attitude with a willingness to take the initiative to learn and improve processes
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
7. Preferably bi-lingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with English and Mandarin speaking
associates
