**Responsibilities**:

- Driving the implementation of existing site-specific Hazard Control Programs.
- Develop and implement new Hazard Control Programs as identified through the audit process or new regulatory impact to the business.
- Conduct Inspection of machines, equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and serviceability and specifications for use.
- Constantly equip with the changes/updates to legislation and other requirements
- Educate the sites’ Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team on program changes and requirements.
- Develop and manage written program review and update schedule.
- Develop with EHS Training to incorporate program requirements into site specific training content.
- Provide education and promote a culture of environmental, health & safety excellence.
- Able to analyse data, identify the gaps and initiate relevant training. Produce objective driven training presentation slides
- Identify and maintain a master listing of all tasks and processes identified as High Risk Operations and maintain and assist development of the associated risk assessments for them in conjunction with operations team or consultant support as needed.
- Observe workers’ practices to ensure that safety equipment is being used according to regulations.
- Conduct and document risk assessments of new operations or facility changes.
- Ensure that fire prevention equipment and other safety supplies, such as first aid kits, are available and conform to required standards.
- Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, and training.
- Participate in the EHS Department on-call program and assists to responding to reported concerns, consultation inquiries to the department, attendance at operational meetings, or in response to major incidents.

**Requirements**:

- Must have Advance Certificate in Training and Assessment (Facilitated Learning)
- Must be a Singapore Registered Safety Officer / Workplace Safety & Health Officer with Ministry of Manpower (Singapore)
- Must have professional knowledge in WSHE legislation and regulations (WSH act and Environment)
- Min. 5 years’ experience as EHS Trainer in Singapore
- Innovative with EHS solutions and think out of the box.
- Physically fit and healthy, hardworking, driven, able to work independently
- Must be computer literate and proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, good with IT knowledge
