The Executive Director will provide visionary leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for Singapore National Stroke Association (SNSA). This role encompasses responsibilities in human resources, fundraising, and overall organizational management. The Executive Director will work closely with the Executive Committee (Exco) to develop and implement strategies to advance the mission of SNSA.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Strategic Leadership**:

- Develop and implement the strategic plan in collaboration with the Exco.
- Provide leadership for SNSA employees to achieve SNSA’s mission and goals.
- Foster a positive organizational culture that promotes teamwork, innovation, and accountability.

**2. Human Resources Management**:

- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
- Implement HR policies and practices that ensure a supportive and effective working environment.
- Manage performance evaluations, staff development, and succession planning.

**3. Fundraising and Development**:

- Identify and develop funding opportunities and strategies to diversify SNSA’s revenue streams.
- Collaborate with the Exco to create a comprehensive and sustainable fundraising plan.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and funding organizations.
- Oversee fundraising events and campaigns, ensuring alignment with the identified funding buckets.
- Monitor and report on fundraising performance, adjusting strategies as needed.

**4. Financial Management**:

- Develop and manage the annual budget in consultation with the Treasurer and Exco.
- Ensure financial stability and sustainability through effective financial planning and oversight.
- Provide regular financial reports to the Exco and stakeholders.

**5. Program Management**:

- Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of SNSA’s programs and services.
- Ensure programs are aligned with the organization’s mission and strategic goals.
- Foster partnerships with other organizations to enhance program delivery and reach.

**6. Operations and Project Management**:

- Ensure the effective day-to-day operation of SNSA.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Continuously assess and improve operational processes and systems.

**7. Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
- Advocate for stroke prevention, stroke awareness, and community support for stroke survivors through improvements in national policies and legislation.

**8. Governance and Compliance**:

- Work closely with the Exco to ensure effective governance and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and updates to the Exco and stakeholders.
- Ensure transparency and accountability in all organizational activities.
