**What the role is**
- You will be part of the Human Resource Directorate under The People & Organisation Group which focuses on developing people and organisational capabilities. As strategic partners to our Directorates and AGD officers, we aim to build a performance driven workforce that is future ready and agile. We work closely with senior management to nurture an engaged workforce that is motivated and passionate with One Public Service mindset to transform the public sector through finance.

**What you will be working on**
- You will be involved in a broad suite of HR functions supporting the transformation of Public Sector Finance: - Undertake strategic manpower planning for AGD to support workforce transformation - Plan and manage manpower resourcing, including recruitment, postings and secondments - Review AGD’s branding and Employee Value Proposition (EVP) as an Employer of Choice externally and internally - Support competency-based learning and development needs of AGD officers - Harness HR technologies to transform operations - Ensure effective delivery of HR services to AGD directorates and AGD officers deployed at various agencies

**What we are looking for**
- Functional/Technical Competencies - Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource, Psychology, Business Administration, or related disciplines - At least 5 years’ relevant experience and knowledge in human resources - Prior HR experience in the public sector and familiarity with Civil Service policies and guidelines will be an advantage
Generic Competencies - Innovative individual who will think out of the box to find solutions for existing and anticipated problems - A proactive attitude, results oriented and display strong multi-tasking skills to meet tight deadlines - Ability to foster strong relationships with stakeholders, communicate effectively and build trust in order to influence, facilitate and resolve conflicts - Ability to proactively identify and manage the impact of changing workforce requirements; and align HR strategies and policies to develop workforce capacity and capability. - Strong analytical, written, communication and inter-personal skills.
