**[What the role is]**

You will manage a lush and vibrant garden to serve the recreational and lifestyle pursuits of our community. You will contribute towards the greening, maintenance, sustainability, education, programmes and conservation of our green landscape through careful and dedicated management of the garden and its facilities. The Gardens is also a sustainability and living lab for innovation and technology in urban greenery as we transform into a City in Nature.

**[What you will be working on]**

You will manage lush and vibrant gardens to serve the recreational and lifestyle pursuits of our community. Apart from the upkeep of the gardens to provide a safe and pleasant experience for users, you will be involved in a diverse range of activities, including programming and events, surveys, citizen science and various landscaping and biodiversity enhancement projects. You will also be involved in the management of edible and ornamental plant collection of the Gardens:

- Horticulture maintenance of trees, shrubs and lawns and rejuvenation of landscapes in Jurong Lake Gardens
- Lead and conduct plant introduction, performance assessments and propagation
- Conceptualisation and implementation of horticulture outreach programmes and volunteer engagement
- Assistance in park operations and events

**[What we are looking for]**
- Areas of study in Plant Science/ Horticulture/ Landscape Management or related discipline
- Enjoy working outdoors, doing field work, and interacting with people
- Keen interest in nature, plants, greenery, and environmental horticulture
- Able to multi-task in performing a diverse range of duties, including enforcement when required
- Self-motivated and effective team leader
- Possess good interpersonal and writing skills to connect with various stakeholders
- Willing to work after office hours and during weekends and public holidays when required
