**What's the Role?**

We are looking for a **Director, Production Planning**, based in Singapore. This role reports into the Corporate Director, Procurement & OPC** **based in Singapore too.

Accountabilities include but are not limited to:

- **Managing the Production Control Team**, consisting of **4 managers and 28 planners**, for **6 product lines** for ASM Global Operations manufacturing sites in Singapore.
- Detailed **production planning and manufacturing line scheduling** to optimize factory throughput.
- In depth work with the global purchasing teams to establish the best possible material presentation to **optimize factory** starts.
- Adhering to established financial policies on **shop floor order management** for material variance resolution.
- Working with demand planning organizations to **ensure forward looking build volumes** result in increased manufacturing capacity.
- Establishing ownership within the team for **kit fill % / material availability at assembly start** through advanced **material planning strategies**.
- Coordinating closely with other manufacturing and spares plants for intercompany **inventory transfers for immediate Customer requirements.**:

- **Sustaining the retrofit / non-system order fulfillment process** through direct work center planning and scheduling.
- Keeping the team’s organizational structure and capabilities in line with the manufacturing team structure.
- **Driving efficiency gains in production and manufacturing management processes through automation.**:

- Providing frequent, executive level updates on the **overall production status for all factories**.
- Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the manufacturing process for each product.
- **Resolving all logical materials discrepancies from shop floor order** release to complete in manufacturing.
- Working with manufacturing leaders to **establish and maintain line-back KPI’s and flow manufacturing principles.**:

- Driving **systemic reductions in BOM errors** requiring WIP shop floor order changes.

**What Will Make You Successful?**
- Show the abilities to understand, operate, and **drive process improvement in the Production Planning** module of SAP ECC 6.0.
- Have at least 10 years of relevant experience in production planning and / or manufacturing in high mix / low volume, engineer to order environments.
- Demonstrate capability of driving supply chain and manufacturing teams to an aggressive production schedule.
- Communicate effectively at the executive level on overall production status.
- Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast paced, changing/growing organization while maintaining focus on the strategy and achievement of objectives
- Exceptional critical thinking, analytical skills, and problem solving ability
