The identified student will be joining Procurement BackEnd team in Infineon Singapore. This student will undergo on-the-job training which include procurement functions. This student will be actively involved in cost analysis and pricing comparison from the RFQ feedback from suppliers as part of the alternate sourcing and saving activities. This student will be involved in project discussion and will follow up with the project team on the progress from identify, evaluation to final qualification. This will enable this student to gain a good understanding in project management for cost saving projects.

**In your new role you will**:

- Understand business requirement and source from approved suppliers for parts
- **Conduct comparison of suppliers RFQ **to facilitate decision making
- Support buyers in **on-boarding of new suppliers**:

- Conduct **checking of RFQ quotations**:

- Perform **pricing analysi **s **, **support short term projects and reporting**:

- Price updating

**Internship Learning Outcomes**:

- Accumulate experience working in the procurement department and **learn its daily operations and processes**:

- **Gain knowledge in supplier sourcing, and project managemen **t
- Develop skill on **communication **and interact with different departments and stakeholders on their function or how they operate
- Manage on **project management and communication skills **through participation in project discussion/negotiation

**You are best equipped for this task if you have**:

- On track to attain Bachelor Degree/Diploma in **Business Administration and Engineering course **. Students with similar fields who are interested in Procurement/Purchasing are welcome to apply
- **Strong interest **and want to explore more about Procurement/Purchasing function
- **Positive and willing to learn attitude **to pick up new knowledge
- **Team player and able to work well at all level **s **from different department and stakeholders
