
Senior Channel Manager, B2B Ecommerce

**Core Responsibilities**:
You will be a hands-on leader in the SEA Team to help steer the SEA eCommerce team, creating an innovative and learning team culture
The key role is to acquire & utilise understanding of shopping behaviour and the retail landscape across all channels (online, mobile, app, store) to help drive digital strategy and complete digital solutions across retail channels.
**Their role will be divided as follows**:
**E-Commerce Strategy and Planning
Ensure that the SEA e-commerce channel opportunities are well reflected in the Go to Market plans and Customer Business Plans
- Leading, finding opportunities and driving growth of the eComm channel in SEA focusing on strategic priorities
- Input into LEGO global / APAC e-commerce direction and convert into concrete local initiatives
- Identify emerging e-commerce opportunities and bring them to live
- Drive collaborations with SEA sales team and cross functional teams to ensure broad strategy alignment is included in the digital execution across various account plans
- Key partner for GM in e-Commerce related daily business tasks
**For strategic customers**:
- Understanding of retailer’s digital strategies in conjunction with the LEGO Group's strategy to agree annual joint digital plans as part of the joint business plan (including test & learn)
- Create and maintain a commercially focused digital plan to ensure maximum exposure and conversion
- Lead relationships with all e-com customers, serve as Senior customer face-off
- Lead account strategy, including discussions, innovations and testing
**Execution and Evaluation**:
- Bring brands to life through execution and management of GTM initiatives directly working with key departments within our selected retailers to build as well as activate plans
- Project lead execution of plans in collaboration with sales, marketing ensuring clear organizational alignment for efficient execution (RAID)
- Implement agreed digital initiatives within customers ensuring seamless experience across channels
- Evaluate and share post activity results with recommendations both internally and externally in order to drive continuous improvement and embed takeaways with sales team
- Accountable for coordinating campaigns & activities across SEA e-com customers
**People Leadership**:
- Lead 2 Managers and 2 Assistant Managers whilst working in close collaboration with the Digital Marketing and Trade Marketing colleagues and also drive capability building across the SEA organization
- Coordinates eComm team resources to provide effective support to all required customers with eComm sales and alignment of those plans across geographies
- Facilitate talent development and retention of digital workforce within BU, building a strong and collaborative work environment
- Build a test and learn culture to encourage innovation and experimentation
- Lead and develop capabilities for eCommerce team
**Play your part in our team succeeding**:
Establishing eCommerce strategy and its implementation is key growth driver for LEGO in SEA. eCommerce team is encouraged to run all the eCommerce activations across SG MY and EA markets with outstanding quality by collaborating with other functions e.g. Marketing, Sales, Operations, Distributors, Enablers, Regional team to deliver harmonised brand experience across the touch points.
Head of Ecommerce team will directly report to General Manager in SEA due to its strategic importance.
**Do you have what it takes**:
- Bachelor’s degree and commercial experience (including covering Sales or Key account management role)
- Demonstrated 6 - 8 years ability in e-commerce and/or other digital marketing fields ideally from a premium consumer brand or digital agency and a minimum of 3 years in a people leadership capacity
- Entrepreneurial approach and ability to embrace test & learn culture
- Leadership experience to build and develop eComm team as a strategic component of the SEA BU
- Fully operational in selling and negotiation skills, sales & commercial analysis and customer collaboration.
- Successful leadership experience in leading diverse individuals and able to prioritise, interest in learning and growth mentality
- First-hand experience with SEA market place platforms - either from brand principal’s side or vendor/merchant management side.
- Full understanding of the conversion funnel, the digital retail landscape, and the dynamics of e-Commerce and Omni-channel, as well as thorough knowledge of new shopper acquisition channels
- Commercially astute with strong persuading skills
- Validated track-record of acting and developing digital solutions or campaigns based on shopper insights
