Manages dsm-firmenich long term business development with a major key global account in AMEA. Leads and manages the account on a regional level to grow sales and profitability according to the set global and regional objectives. Ensures that dsm-firmenich is recognized as the clients’ indispensable partner, identifies and delivers big bets while ensuring most efficient resource management. Contributes to the global strategy and supports agreed ways of working and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leads the business strategy and growth for AMEA and coordinates the local country account manager activities with the NEA, SEA and IMA regions and develops & executes strategy with clear milestones where to play and how to win
- Be the customers’ ‘voice’ within dsm-firmenich, issuing comprehensive action reports and effectively communicating with all internal partners: Technical, Creation, Marketing, Innovation, Pricing, Operations.
- Best-in-class project management in close collaboration with the BU teams and support functions to deliver big bets
- Develops strong network within customer to result into successful long term business relationship and client retention
- Continuously identifies and unlocks new business opportunities along the entire value chain, including disruptive innovation ideas to generate productivity savings & margin improvement
- Positions dsm-firmenich Innovation Programs underpinned by sensory, consumer and category insights to drive vitality & regional pipeline growth
- Develops sales forecast, builds annual budget and closely monitors & actions on margin targets
- Maintains and develops strong network within customer network which continues to result in a successful long term business relationship
- Constantly seeks new business opportunities along the entire value chain, including disruptive innovation ideas.
- Contributes to validate the requirements for the identification and selection of new technologies/solutions
- Drives Taste, Texture and Health development projects together with all internal partners proactively
- Continuously improve & re-invent “best in class” collaboration model

You bring:

- Over 10 years of successful experience in the international Food industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent
- Strong drive for results and client focus
- Strategic and disruptive thinking
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
- Ability to develop successful and sustainable client relationship with large accounts
- Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset
- Advanced Sales and Negotiation skills
- Technical background preferred
