We are seeking an Education Programme Manager for Cognita Asia to deliver our Digital Learning Strategy aligned with the group-wide framework as well as harmonise the EdTech landscape across our region. This position will lead and support our schools’ improvement of their digital maturity and their intelligent use of EdTech to support student learning and teacher efficiency. This position will also support the delivery of other education related projects across Asia that sit outside the realm of EdTech and Digital Learning.

YOUR ROLE AS THE EDUCATION PROGRAMME MANAGER

Cognita Asia is seeking a colleague that can support our schools’ development of four major competencies at a student level: Digital Citizens, Digital Learners, Digital Collaborators and Digital Innovators. The Education Programme Manager will also improve the intelligent use of EdTech across Asia to support student learning and teacher efficiency as well as implementing Cognita’s Global Digital Learning Framework.

Cognita Asia defines **EdTech** as the use of technology to support teaching and/or the effective day-to-day management of education institutions. This includes but not limited to:
Apps installed onto devices, Online Subscriptions (Paid and Free), Student Information Systems (MIS/SIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS/VLE), Individually Operated Devices (Laptops, iPads, tablets, etc) and Shared Devices (Smart Boards, 3D Printers, Robotics, etc).

The Education Programme Manager is accountable for both the digital learning and EdTech landscape across our schools in Asia. This will take up most of your working days. Most of your work will be completed by supporting, influencing and working with schools across the region. Predominantly, your job will be to support the three attributes of knowledge animation, intelligent accountability and building capacity.

You will also support the Education Director to deliver non digital learning / EdTech programmes across the region. The Education Programme Manager needs to have general competence across multiple education domains and the confidence to lead on strategic academic projects.

THE ATTRIBUTES YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

The Education Programme Manager will:
Deliver Cognita’s global digital learning framework across Asia and ensure schools meet or exceed expectations.

Manage and hone the EdTech landscape across Asia.

Have a complete understanding of how to manage and influence the delivery of academic, digital and EdTech regional projects and accomplish great things on time.

Possess strong collaboration skills to foster partnership and believe that we are better together by building, leveraging and supporting mechanisms that reflect this belief.

Maintain a sense of pragmatism, matched only by great ambition, while always being clear on whether the work is having a positive impact on student learning and teacher welfare.

Obsess about details and have champion-level organization skills with experience in project management, digital learning, EdTech and academic leadership.
