You are motivated to develop tinkermind as a thought leader in maker education through the design and implementation of new maker curriculum materials, lessons and activities for school programmes and related educational opportunities. You are interested in emerging technologies within education, and are driven to empower students, educators and the wider public with new learning mindsets and capabilities for evolving challenges and opportunities.

In this position, you research thoughts, trends and techniques in maker education to determine the best way to conduct a maker education programme, and develop new curriculum content and materials to incorporate those ideas. Your job duties also include reviewing current materials and programmes, help to improve or change these to better meet changing needs. You thrive working in a team, and utilize that also as an opportunity to grow the company’s and your own capabilities. You identify needs and accommodate them, are not afraid to share constructive input on how to make things better.

**Responsibilities**:
Identify new areas of growth in maker curriculum and school programmes from existing and new platforms, including but not exclusive to, government procurement portals, conferences, and conversations with educators

Identify & lead evaluation of new content areas to add to our line of programme offerings

Prepare new and review existing maker education content units to ensure that they continue to stay relevant to school opportunities, platforms and prospects

Identify and develop partners, including freelance trainers, for content development and workshop support

Conduct maker education workshops for schools and members of public

Coordinate and work with Business Development to prepare and submit proposals for relevant business opportunity platforms and prospects

Propose procurement of resources, including materials and equipment, to fulfil our programmes and services, as well as for programme and product development
