**Job Summary**
The talent is responsible for executing on BD’s SEA third party compliance risk management strategy and fostering an efficient and effective training, due diligence and third party monitoring process. You will report to the Manager, Ethics & Compliance - SEA, who executes the Ethics & Compliance strategy for the SEA region.
This is a 12 months contract. There is a possibility to convert to permanent headcount or extend the contract, depending on individual's performance and business needs.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Serve as third party compliance resource to business leaders and other relevant management personnel in SEA
- Collaborate and manage relationship with distributors and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct the due diligence process including completion of questionnaires, review of due diligence reports, coordination of local governance meetings, preparation of third party metrics and reports.
- Manage the third party compliance systems.
- Monitoring of party contracting process, including engagement of legal colleagues and business stakeholders to ensure the existence and adequacy of compliance clauses in written agreements.
- Ongoing monitoring of high-risk third parties and pro-active remediation of potential findings identified.
- Conduct training on anti-corruption and other relevant compliance policies to new and existing third parties.
- Collaboration with the internal audit team for independent distributor audits.
- Involvement in other projects related to the Code of Conduct and HCP/HCO Global Standards policy, e.g. monitoring, training, business advisory, etc.
- Involve and assist in fraud investigations related to employee misconduct.
- Involve and assist in global projects.
**Preferred Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree is required - Legal/ Accounting/ Business preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in external, internal audit and/ or process improvement. We are also open to fresh graduates.
- Experience in a global life sciences corporation (medical device or pharmaceutical) is preferred.
- Reading / writing / presenting in regional languages would be a plus.
- Experienced with healthcare compliance issues, such as the FCPA/anti-corruption and other issues arising in a pharmaceutical or medical device company, privacy and transparency reporting laws is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience communicating with individuals at various levels and functions within an organization, including senior management.
- Solid analytical and conceptual skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive, exercise independent judgment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong work ethic and ability to produce high quality work under significant deadline pressures.
- Unquestionable integrity and ethics and ability to remain firm with these principles under pressure.
