As the Assistant Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales and revenue generation for the company. You will work closely with the sales team, designers, and clients to understand their needs, promote our services, and ensure exceptional customer experiences. This role requires a combination of sales expertise, design knowledge, and relationship-building skills to effectively communicate our value proposition and convert leads into satisfied clients.

Specific Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the Design Manager to develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.

2. Conduct consultations with prospective clients to understand their design requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.

3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to foster trust, loyalty, and repeat business.

4. Develop and present design concepts and solutions that meet client requirements.

5. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to track progress against goals and identify areas for improvement.

6. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Competencies:
1. Ability to contribute to the formulation of comprehensive sales strategies aligned with business objectives, market trends, and customer needs.

2. Proficiency in asking probing questions to elicit detailed information about clients' needs, preferences, lifestyle, and aesthetic tastes.

3. Proficiency in relationship management techniques to nurture and maintain long-term relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.

4. Ability to conduct thorough assessments of client requirements and preferences.

5. Proficiency in data analysis techniques and tools to extract insights from sales data, including spreadsheets, databases, and analytics software (e.g., Excel, Salesforce, Tableau).

6. Proficiency in conducting comprehensive market research using various sources, including industry reports, market surveys, trade publications, and online databases, to stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and customer preferences.
